The DIGITUS Gigabit Media Converter DN-82124 is designed to convert multimode fiber signals to singlemode, supporting SC to SC fiber optic connections. Operating at wavelengths of 850nm for multimode and 1310nm for singlemode, it enables data transmission over distances up to 20 kilometers, making it ideal for extending network reach.

This converter supports a maximum data transfer rate of 1000 Mbit/s with a 1000Base-SX interface, ensuring high-speed and stable connectivity. It features two fiber ports with SC connectors and supports various fiber cable diameters including 8.3/125 µm up to 100/140 µm.

Equipped with LED indicators for activity, link, power, and status, users can easily monitor the device's operation.
