The Paint Thickness Gauge DX-13-AL is designed for accurate measurement of paint layers on various surfaces including steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum. It automatically recognizes the substrate type, displaying "FE" for steel and galvanized steel, and "AL" for aluminum surfaces.
Key features include a measurement range from 0 to 3000 μm, with a resolution of 2 μm up to 500 μm and 10 μm above that. The device uses a spring probe for reliable contact and offers easy zero calibration to ensure precise readings.
The large LCD screen provides clear visibility of measurements, and the gauge includes useful functions such as measurement hold, ASSISTANT mode, and automatic power-off after two minutes of inactivity. It is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries and comes with a protective case.
