The Blue Technology DX-13-S-AL paint thickness gauge is designed for precise measurement of paint layers on steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum surfaces. It features a flat probe connected by an 80 cm cable, allowing convenient access to various surfaces. The device measures thickness ranges from 0 to 3000 µm for steel and up to 2000 µm for aluminum, with a resolution of 2 µm for measurements up to 500 µm and 10 µm for thicker layers.

This gauge is powered by two 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries and offers up to 50 hours of operation. It includes useful functions such as HOLD (measurement freeze), ASSISTANT, and automatic shut-off after two minutes of inactivity to save battery life. The large, backlit LCD screen ensures easy readability in different lighting conditions. Additional features include sound signaling, zero calibration, and a spring-loaded probe for consistent contact.

The product comes with calibration plates for steel (FE) and aluminum (AL), a protective case, and user instructions. It is CE certified and manufactured by Blue Technology, based in Poland.
