Construction and design

  • Made of high quality black anodised aluminium with laser engraved der8auer logo, offering high rigidity and durability even in repeated use.

  • It consists of a base where the LGA115x CPU fits and a screw-actuated sliding block that pushes the IHS laterally away from the die without any sudden bumps or twists.

Compatibility

  • Compatible with Intel Ivy Bridge, Haswell, Devil's Canyon, Broadwell, Skylake, Kaby Lake and Coffee Lake desktop CPUs for socket LGA115x (no -E or HEDT versions).

  • Can also be used with some soldered Coffee Lake models (e.g. i9-9900K), always with the additional precaution of solder breaking instead of TIM.
