The COMICA Vimo S-MI strengthens the series' mobile proposition by adding native iOS compatibility and retaining the same magnetic case seen on the USB-C version. Compared to the Hollyland Lark C1, it matches the 200m range and noise reduction, but beats it on value for money by offering an extra 15 hours with the case versus the Lark's 8 hours total. Compared to the RØDE Wireless GO II, it lacks internal recording, although it compensates with more compact size, direct Lightning connection and built-in DSP without additional software. For creators who prioritise light weight, autonomy and plug-and-play setup, the Vimo S-MI stands out as a balanced solution with few weaknesses beyond the lack of internal memory for backup.
