Multimedia converter designed to convert 100BASE-FX fibre to 100Base-TX cable or vice versa. Designed to IEEE 802.3u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards, it is used with multimode optical fibre using the SC connector. Allows the fibre distance to be increased up to 2km.

Supports SX shortwave laser and more features

Supports shortwave (SX) laser at full wire speed transfer rate. It operates at 1310nm transmitting and receiving data. Other features include the ability to use it as a standalone device (rackless or with TP-LINK's 19" system rack, Auto MDI/MDI-X for TX port), Auto duplex mode negotiation on TX port, and status LEDs on the front panel to know if it is working.
