The CyberPower PDU44302 is a Metered Auto Transfer Switch (ATS) Power Distribution Unit designed to provide redundant power to connected equipment in IT environments. It features dual power cords that can be connected to separate power sources, such as a UPS and a generator, ensuring continuous operation. If the primary power source fails or exceeds desired thresholds, the ATS automatically switches to the alternate source within 10 ms (source failure detection time: 2-3 ms; power source transfer time: 2-7 ms).

This 2U horizontal rack-mountable PDU offers 18 AC outlets (C13 and C19 couplers) and supports remote monitoring and control of individual outlets via network connection. The hot-swappable Ethernet module works with PowerPanel® power management software and a web interface for real-time remote monitoring and configuration. A user-configurable color LCD display allows easy categorization of devices across multiple racks, and event logging via web browser or network connection enables review of power condition history. Automatic event notifications can be sent via email, SMS, or SNMP traps to designated users.

Additional features include a USB port for firmware upgrades, an RJ45 port for optional environmental sensor (temperature and humidity monitoring), and support for various network protocols. The unit is built with a steel housing, includes a cord retention tray, and offers controllable outlets with power sequencing.
