AMD AM5 M4 Thermal Grizzly Backplate
The AM5 M4 backplate is an optional mounting plate for M4 threaded screws, which replaces the original AM5 backplate. With the AM5 M4 backplate, corresponding CPU coolers, especially AiO water coolers, can be used.
AM5 Compatibility
The AMD AM5 M4 Thermal Grizzly Backplate is designed to replace the original AM5 socket backplate. It allows the use of CPU coolers that require M4 threaded screws, thus offering greater flexibility in the choice of cooling systems.
Adaptation to AiO coolers
Many AiO liquid cooling systems and some high-end heatsinks use mounting kits with M4 screws, which are not compatible with the standard UNC 6-32 thread of the original AM5 backplate. Thanks to this backplate, it is possible to securely install these cooling systems without the need for additional adapters.
Robust construction
Made of anodised aluminium with an insulating layer, it guarantees mechanical resistance and electrical safety, avoiding any risk of short circuits on the backplate during assembly.
