The COMICA VM30 inaugurates the "all-in-one wireless shotgun" category: compared to the COMICA VM40, it retains filters and OLED, but dispenses with the 32-bit float 32GB internal recording that gives the VM40 more security on critical shoots. Compared to the RØDE VideoMic NTG, it matches low-cut and treble enhancement options, adds integrated wireless transmission and outperforms its 30 h battery life with 50 h wired; in return, the RØDE offers a -20 dB pad and slightly less headroom.
