The COMICA Vimo Q is one of the few general-purpose kits that records four voices without resorting to professional-grade equipment. Compared to the DJI Mic 2, which offers a longer range (250m) and 32-bit internal floating recording, the Vimo Q stands out for its multi-channel capability and a full set at a lighter weight, sacrificing internal recording but maintaining a clean sound thanks to CalMix processing. Compared to the Hollyland Lark Max, similar in range but limited to two channels, COMICA provides greater flexibility for roundtable discussions or face-to-face podcasts, although the Lark has the edge in raw range. Compared to the previous Vimo C, the jump from two to four channels and the improved HD screen justify the upgrade for creators who want to grow without multiplying the equipment.
