The ExtraLink EX.6211 is a high-performance SFP+ transceiver module designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications over single-mode fiber. It operates at a data rate of 10.3125 Gbps and uses WDM technology with transmit wavelength of 1270nm and receive wavelength of 1330nm, enabling bidirectional communication over a single fiber when used in pairs. This module supports a link length of up to 20 kilometers, making it ideal for metropolitan area networks and long-reach interconnects.

Equipped with a duplex LC connector and digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM) functionality, the EX.6211 provides real-time monitoring of optical parameters such as temperature, voltage, laser bias current, and optical power. It is hot-pluggable, compliant with SFF-8431 and SFF-8432 standards, and offers low power consumption. This pair includes two modules (one 1270nm TX/1330nm RX and one 1330nm TX/1270nm RX) for a complete point-to-point link.
