Zebra ET40/ET45 key lock module for 8-10" tablet

Function and compatibility

• Described as "Key Lock Module for Zebra ET40/ET45 8″ and 10″ (with Rugged Boot) Supports Expansion Back", and used in conjunction with specific ET40/ET45 ProClip cradles (e.g. 3PTY-PCLIP-216380/381/384/387) as a mechanical security system.

• Compatible with ET40 and ET45 8" and 10" in rugged boot and, where applicable, expansion back configurations, covering most industrial/vehicle deployments of these tablets.

Design and use

• The module mounts on the corresponding ProClip cradle and adds a barrel key cylinder that locks the tablet in the dock, making it removable only with the included key.

• It is intended for vehicles, forklifts, forklift trucks or shared workstations, where the tablet is left docked and you want to prevent accidental removal or opportunistic theft, while maintaining access to all ports and functions of the ET40/ET45 while in the cradle.
