Portable 16W RMS loudspeaker designed for balanced acoustic performance in compact formats. This version evolves from its predecessors with more efficient power management and more stable audio output.

Design

Its cylindrical structure allows for 360-degree omni-directional sound projection. The system is based on an upward-facing full-range dynamic driver, supported by two lateral passive radiators that reinforce low frequencies down to 65 Hz. Signal processing uses SoundPulse® technology, a proprietary algorithm that minimises harmonic distortion at high volumes and optimises bass response.

Connectivity

In connectivity, it integrates a Bluetooth 5.3 module with an effective range of 15 metres and support for the SBC codec. It enables TWS (True Wireless Stereo) mode, which links two T8 Mini units to generate a true stereo soundstage with left and right channel separation. In addition to wireless connectivity, it includes a 3.5 mm auxiliary input and a Micro SD/TF card slot (maximum 64GB in FAT32 format).

Battery life and charging

Battery life relies on a 2600 mAh battery. Under conditions of use at 50% volume and with the LED lighting off, it reaches 20 hours of continuous playback. At maximum brightness and high volume, the operating time is between 8 and 10 hours. Charging is via USB-C in 3 hours, with 5V/1A adapters recommended to preserve cell life.

Construction and durability

The chassis is made of ABS plastic with rubber base and textile mesh lining. IPX7 certification guarantees full protection against immersion in fresh water (up to 1 metre deep for 30 minutes), allowing it to be used outdoors or in wet environments without risk of failure.

Smart features

Firmware updates, customisation of RGB lighting modes and adjustment of equalisation are managed via the Tronsmart app. The device also integrates a microphone for hands-free calling and is compatible with Siri, Google Assistant and Cortana voice assistants.
