The Fluke MicroScanner 2 Cable Verifier FL-MS2-100 is a professional handheld tester designed for verifying and troubleshooting network cables. It supports testing of twisted pair cables (UTP, FTP, SSTP) and coaxial cables with impedances of 75 Ω, 50 Ω, and 93 Ω. The device detects common cable faults such as opens, shorts, split pairs, crossed pairs, and reversed pairs, ensuring accurate diagnosis of wiring issues.

With a cable length measurement range of up to 460 meters (1500 feet) and a typical accuracy of ±4% or 0.6 meters (2 feet), the MicroScanner 2 provides precise length testing. It also features Ethernet port detection, identifying recommended speeds of 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1 Gbps, which helps verify network connectivity and speed capabilities.

The device includes a remote adapter (FL-MS2-WM) for identifying cable lines and supports testing of RJ45, RJ11/12, and F-type connectors. Its monochrome LCD with backlight ensures clear visibility in various lighting conditions. Powered by two AA alkaline batteries, it offers approximately 20 hours of typical use.

Designed to meet IEC safety and EMC standards, the MicroScanner 2 is suitable for use in active networks and supports PoE detection. Its compact size (163x76x36 mm) and lightweight design (363 g) make it a convenient tool for network technicians and installers.
