The ExtraLink EX.0424 is a 1:16 PLC optical splitter designed for passive optical networks (PON). It evenly splits an incoming optical signal into 16 output channels with minimal loss. The SC/UPC connectors ensure low reflectance and stable connections, while the 900μm tight-buffered fiber provides durability and ease of handling in splice closures or distribution boxes.
This splitter is ideal for FTTx deployments, including fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and fiber-to-the-building (FTTB). The 1.5-meter pigtail length offers flexibility for installation in various enclosures. The PLC technology guarantees consistent performance across a wide wavelength range (1260–1650 nm) and operating temperatures (-40°C to +85°C).
