PATCHBOX PLUS+ – Fibre optic cassette – Black

The PATCHBOX PLUS+ fibre optic cassette is the modular heart of every PATCHBOX. Each cassette contains the unique patented mechanism that delivers next-generation cable management inside your network cabinet, and the interchangeable cassette system lets you customise your PATCHBOX setup as your infrastructure evolves.

This cassette is equipped with an OS2 singlemode fibre cable (9 µm core / 125 µm cladding) built on bend-insensitive Corning fibres, with an LC duplex to LC duplex connection, male connectors on both ends and PC polishing. The 1.8 m cable uses a halogen-free LSZH jacket and supports wavelengths of 1310 and 1550 nm, full duplex operation and Ethernet interfaces up to 10, 40 and 100 Gigabit Ethernet with a data transfer rate of 100 Gbit/s.

Practical details are built in: an integrated cassette labelling field, a cable stop for precise cable length adjustment and extendable fibre optic cables for a perfect connection. The cassette housing is made of POM and stainless steel in black and is CE certified. Remember to pair PATCHBOX cassettes with the matching PATCHBOX frame (Plus+ or 365).
