Network specifications and performance

• Offers a 1 × 10GBASE-T RJ45 interface with 10 / 5 / 2.5 / 2.5 / 1 Gb/s and 100 Mb/s speeds, NBASE-T auto-negotiation, using the Marvell AQC113 controller, which is very stable and widespread in 10G solutions.

• Via USB4/Thunderbolt 3/4 it achieves rates up to ~1180 MB/s effective (~9.4 Gb/s) in optimal environments, enough to saturate a 10G link for copy to NAS, direct editing over network or internal backbone.

Connectivity and compatibility

• Host connection via 1 × USB-C (USB4), 1m USB4 cable included; compatible with:

  • Windows: USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 ports.

  • macOS: Thunderbolt 3/4 ports.

  • Linux: USB4/TB3/TB4 support with appropriate drivers (Windows ARM not supported).

• Recommended to use Cat 6a cable for 10G up to 100m (Cat 6 for 5G, Cat 5e for 2.5G), while maintaining compatibility with existing infrastructure.

Design and practical use

• Fanless design, with aluminium housing acting as a heatsink, offering quiet operation even under sustained load (large copies, 8K streaming, streaming games).

• Compact dimensions (approx. 124 × 56 × 27 mm), ideal for mobile or desktop setups where you want 10G without adding an internal PCIe card.
