This extender enables HDMI signal transmission over distances of up to 40 km by optical fibre in Singlemode mode and up to 300 metres in Multimode mode, using optical fibre technology and an IP link with 1G network infrastructure.

The equipment includes a transmitter and receiver unit, with support for cascading, independent audio output via 3.5 mm jack, local HDMI loop-through, and IR remote control.
