TP-Link 300 Mbps Wi-Fi range extender
The TP-Link TL-WA855RE is a Wi-Fi range extender designed to broaden the reach of your existing 2.4 GHz wireless network. With a maximum Wi-Fi data transfer rate of 300 Mbps and two external antennas, it helps extend coverage into areas where your router's signal is weak, using the 802.11b, 802.11g and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) standards.
It includes one Ethernet LAN port (RJ-45) with 10/100 Mbps data transfer speeds and 10/100Base-T(X) wiring technology, so you can connect a wired device directly to the extender. Security is covered by support for 64-bit, 128-bit and 152-bit WEP as well as WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK encryption.
The unit is finished in white plastic and is compact, measuring 52 mm wide, 34 mm deep and 65 mm high. It operates on 100–240 V AC at 50–60 Hz with a power consumption of 3 W, and it is certified to CE and FCC standards, with RoHS conformity. A reset button and a Quick Installation Guide are included to help you get started.
