The Zebra SG-RS51-TRGDU-01 is a double sided trigger module for RS5100 and RS6100 ring scanners, which also incorporates an integrated USB-C connector for cradle-free ring charging, allowing ambidextrous ring ergonomics and direct cable charging.
Trigger function
-
Zebra describes it as "RS5100/RS6100 replacement trigger assembly, double sided trigger with USB-C": a dual trigger (right and left side) that mounts on the finger and allows the scanner to be operated with either side, without fabrics or straps to wear out.
-
It is ambidextrous and is intended for use without gloves or with light gloves (Zebra states that the dual triggers are not recommended with thick gloves), offering millions of keystrokes of lifetime.
Built-in USB-C charging
-
A USB-C port is built into the body of the trigger, allowing the RS5100/RS6100's battery to be charged directly with a USB-C cable, without the need for charging cradles, useful in low-base environments or for mobile/vehicular use.
-
This feature differentiates it from the SG-RS51-TRGDS-01 (dual trigger without USB-C) and the SG-RS51-TRGDV-01 (dual trigger with vibration), being the charging flexibility oriented option.
