ZEBRA DS3608-SR USB 2D barcode scanner, decoded, USB

The Zebra DS3608-SR is a corded handheld barcode scanner built for the toughest environments — the warehouse and the manufacturing floor. Part of the Zebra 3600 Series of ultra-rugged scanners, it is designed to capture virtually any 1D or 2D barcode, from close contact out to a working range of up to 1.5 m, so operators can scan quickly and keep lines moving.

At its core is a 1280-pixel optical sensor with LED illumination, delivering fast, accurate decoding of both linear and 2D symbologies. It reads 1D codes such as Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Code 11, Codabar, GS1-128 (UCC/EAN-128), MSI, Plessey and UPC, as well as 2D codes including QR Code, Micro QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, MicroPDF417, Aztec Code, MaxiCode, Han Xin and composite barcodes. Wide reading angles (-65° to 65° pitch and skew, -45° to 45° yaw) make it easier to scan at awkward orientations.

The DS3608-SR is sealed to IP67 and rated as dust-, water- and impact-resistant, so it stands up to the dust, sprays and knocks typical of industrial use. It connects by cable and supports RS-232, USB and keyboard wedge interfaces, with LED indicators for clear operator feedback. Remote configuration and management tools let you set up and update scanners and format data for direct transmission to business applications.
