Design and construction

The Agner is a padded harness with a lumbar belt and anatomically shaped leg loops that distribute the load evenly, reducing pressure points when resting while hanging or belaying for long periods. It incorporates an internal support strap that distributes the weight along the entire length of the belt, improving comfort without the need for excessively bulky padding.

Comfort and fit

The belt has an ergonomic cut that follows the natural shape of the hip, allowing good freedom of movement for both sport climbing and alpine manoeuvres. The leg loops are padded and designed to stay in position without digging in, offering a balance between lightness and comfort even in technical clothing or prolonged use.

Material carriers and technical details

The harness includes several rigid/semi-rigid gear loops distributed around the waistbelt for organising quickdraws, friends and other belay devices, plus additional points where carabiners or ice accessories can be attached. The attachment points and locking rings are reinforced to increase durability against continuous wear and tear on the rope and carabiners.
