Design and function

  • Made of visible green acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) ( 5.9x20 mm), with sliding key mechanism for locking/closing; pack includes 20 locking devices or variant with 1 key + 10 pcs.

  • Physical security: prevent access to fibre uplinks (e.g. SFP+ 1G/10G), ideal for secure VLANs in managed switches; green colour for quick identification of inactive ports.

Installation and use

  • Simple insertion: place in key, insert into SFP port, release blocker; remove with dedicated key; compatible with 1U rack switches (Lindy 47913 or generic).

  • Perfect for Caracas IT environments with Cat6 FTP NanoCable cabling and PoE switches; combine with StarTech KVM for secure multi-PC management.
