DRAGINO Water Leak Sensor LWL04 Overview The Dragino LWL04 is a LoRaWAN water leak sensor. If water is detected between the bottom three metal posts, the LWL04 indicates a water leak and sends a signal to the IoT server via the LoRaWAN network.The Dragino LWL04 does not need to be mounted; it can simply be placed on the floor. The height of the lower three metal posts can be adjusted. A short-circuit alarm is triggered only if water is present between the three metal posts.The LWL04 can be activated from the bottom of the housing using a magnet, and the indicator light shows when the magnet is nearby. The main unit features a sealing ring that provides an IP65 protection rating. The LWL04 is powered by a non-rechargeable CR123A battery and is designed for long-term use. These batteries can transmit approximately 16,000 to 70,000 uplink packets, resulting in a battery life of 2 to 10 years. When the battery is depleted, the user can easily open the housing and replace it with CR123A batteries.
