The Zebra ADP-RFD90-TC5X-2R is a Bluetooth adapter for RFD90 RFID sleds, designed to mount Zebra TC53/TC58 terminals on top of the RFD90 reader and link them via Bluetooth instead of direct eConnex. It is, in practice, a mechanical and electronic bracket/accessory that turns the TC53/TC58 + RFD90 combo into a single portable unit compatible with RFD90/RFD40 ShareCradles.

Function of the accessory

  • Type: "RFD90 Sled Bluetooth Adaptor for TC53/58".

  • Use: Allows the TC53 or TC58 to be physically attached to the RFD90 and communicate with it via Bluetooth, instead of the eConnex connector of the ADP-RFD90-TC5X-2E version.

  • Cradles: The TC53/TC58 + RFD90 set mounted with this adapter can be paired with CR49/CR90 series Single-Slot or Multi-Slot cradles for charging/comm.

Compatibility and requirements

  • Compatibility:

    • RFD90 UHF RFID Sled series.

    • Zebra TC53 and TC58 (TC5x Next Gen, 6" display, Wi-Fi 6E/5G).

  • Requirement: It is mandatory to use the Rugged Boot/Exoskeleton SG-NGTC5EXO1-01 in the TC53/TC58 to fit correctly in the sled with this adapter.
