Ricoh sp-2240

The Ricoh SP-2240 is a compact A4 document scanner built for efficient, reliable workgroup scanning. Whether you scan to the cloud, to a network folder or straight to a PC, it delivers a cost-effective solution with class-leading throughput. Its 80-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) and duplex scanning let you digitise stacks of documents quickly, at up to 40 pages per minute in black and white, grayscale and colour.

Image quality is handled by a dual CIS sensor (one front, one rear) with Clear Image Capture and a three-colour RGB LED light source, producing a 600 x 600 dpi optical resolution with 24-bit colour output. The Paper Protection function with delay detection reduces the risk of damage during feeding, while the scanner handles a wide variety of document types, including ID cards conforming to ISO/IEC 7810, Letter and Legal sizes, and documents up to 6.1 m long.

Connectivity is via USB 3.2 Gen 1 with a USB Type-C connector, and the scanner runs on AC power (100–240 V, 50/60 Hz) with a typical power consumption of 15 W and just 0.1 W idle. Its compact black chassis measures 292 x 163 x 150 mm and weighs 3.3 kg, making it easy to place on a desk.
