Dolby Audio Technology

HDMI connectivity with ARC/eARC

All HDMI inputs and output support the latest technology. With ARC (audio return channel) or eARC (enhanced audio return channel), reproducing TV sound through the AV receiver is easy and only requires an HDMI connection. eARC allows you to stream HD audio such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio, while ARC is limited to conventional 5.1-channel or PCM audio formats.

8K/HDCP 2.3

Spectacular colours with HDR 10+

It supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), as well as Dynamic HDR and HDR10+. HLG offers HDR technology in broadcast content. Both Dynamic HDR and HDR10+ use dynamic metadata to optimise the shadows and highlights of the image displayed on screen.

It also lets you enjoy your favourite music wirelessly in any room of the house. You can play the same song in every room or select a different song for each connected room using a variety of streaming sources. Add Denon Home speakers in other rooms and control it all with the HEOS app.

AirPlay 2 and Apple Siri voice control

Use AirPlay 2 to wirelessly stream Apple Music to your AV receiver or pair with other AirPlay-enabled speakers to fill your home with music.

Compatible with Amazon Alexa

Control your AV receiver by voice with Amazon Alexa. Adjust the volume, skip to the next track, switch inputs on your media players and more. Just ask. Download the free HEOS Home Entertainment skill to enable Amazon Alexa voice commands. Requires the Alexa app and an Amazon Echo Dot or equivalent. Feature availability varies by region.

High-Resolution Audio support

Enjoy outstanding sound fidelity with your favourite high-resolution audio tracks. Supported formats include ALAC, FLAC and WAV up to 192 kHz/24-bit. The AVR-S670H also supports 2.8/5.6 MHz DSD files. You can play HD audio tracks from a USB drive or other network-connected drives, or from Amazon Music HD with subscription. Conventional MP3 and WMA files are also supported.

Bluetooth audio streamer

Pair your favourite Bluetooth headphones with the AV receiver to continue enjoying your favourite music, movies or TV shows late into the night. You can also play sound simultaneously through the speakers and Bluetooth headphones. If you have a hearing-impaired family member or friend, we recommend this setup. Only one pair of headphones can be connected at a time.

Denon Setup Assistant

Denon's award-winning Setup Wizard provides clear and simple instructions for getting started. Simply connect the AV receiver to the TV and follow the instructions on the TV screen to connect the speakers, measure the speakers and connect the source devices. For convenience, the AV receiver automatically renames the HDMI inputs after connection, but you can also do this manually if you wish.

Audyssey Room Equalisation Technology

Denon AV receivers employ the Audyssey suite of equalisation programs to provide easy and accurate setup and calibration. Using the supplied measurement microphone, Audyssey measures all the speakers in your home theatre system and adjusts the AV receiver to provide the most optimal and consistent listening experience in every room. This AV receiver features Audyssey MultEQ room equalisation technology. The other Audyssey functions available are Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume.

Denon AVR Remote App

This control app for iOS or Android allows e.g. selecting inputs and sound modes, adjusting volume, saving and recalling Quick Select buttons, displaying AVR status or information about the input and output signal, changing optional settings, etc. Once HEOS music is selected, the AVR Remote app automatically switches to the HEOS app for easy switching between the two apps.

Compatible with Google Assistant

Start music in the HEOS app and then control volume, playback, pause music, skip tracks, and toggle muting on and off by asking the Google Assistant.
