The Victron Energy MultiPlus 12/500/20-16 is a compact inverter/charger designed for mobile and off-grid applications. It combines a 500VA pure sine wave inverter with a 20A battery charger and a 16A AC transfer switch, ensuring seamless power management. The unit automatically switches between grid and inverter power, providing uninterrupted supply to connected loads.
With its advanced microprocessor control, the MultiPlus offers features like PowerAssist, which prevents overload of a limited AC source by supplementing with battery power. The device also supports remote monitoring via the VictronConnect app when paired with a GX device.
