The CBL-PWRD150-M12M00 is Zebra's 15 m "M12 to flying leads" DC power cable, designed as a DC input line cord for powering equipment (such as FXR90 RFID readers and similar) from a 9-60 VDC source using a threaded M12 connector on one end and stripped leads on the other.
Length of 15 meters (≈49 ft), allowing DC power to be brought to mast, ceiling or outdoor mounted devices from a remotely located source (cabinet, technical room, etc.).
One end terminates in a 5-pin M12 threaded circular connector that mates to the DC input of the equipment (e.g. FXR90); the other end is stripped wires (flying leads) for connection to a DC source or to the output of a PWR-BGA24V90W1WWW / PWR-BGA24V100W1WWW converter.
Zebra states that it is intended "for use with 9-60 VDC source" and requires PWR-BGA24V90W1WW/PWR-BGA24V100W1WWW, which ensures the correct combination of voltage and power to the reader.
The FXR90 guide details the colour coding of the cable end:
Red (pins 1 and 2): DC_IN_POS (9-60 VDC).
Black (pins 3 and 4): DC_IN_NEG (GND).
Blue (pin 5): ENABLE (default ON, disabled if set to GND; must not be connected to more than 18 Vdc).
The connection must be carried out by qualified personnel, in compliance with local electrical regulations and using certified junction boxes, terminals or connectors and, if outside, suitable watertight elements.
