It integrates a 2.1 audio architecture within a cylindrical form factor, a superior technical configuration to standard stereo loudspeakers. Unlike other models that rely solely on full-range drivers, the T8 incorporates a dedicated centre woofer for low frequencies, supported by two side drivers and two opposing passive radiators. This arrangement generates 360-degree sound with 40W RMS power, achieving clear frequency separation and fuller-bodied bass.

Sound

The audio management is based on SoundPulse® technology. A DSP chip processes the signal in real time to minimise harmonic distortion(THD) and adjust equalisation before amplification. With a frequency range of 56 Hz to 20,000 Hz, the device maintains bass clarity without compromising midrange and treble clarity, positioning it as a high-performance option in its price segment.

Power management and autonomy

In terms of power management, the system operates at 7.4V via two 4500 mAh cells (equivalent to 9000 mAh in 3.7V systems). This higher voltage stabilises the current supply to the amplifier, preventing performance drops during dynamic bass peaks. Battery life is up to 18 hours (at 50% volume and without illumination) and full charge takes 4.5 hours via USB-C.

Connectivity

Wireless connectivity uses Bluetooth 5.3 protocol, with a stable range of up to 15 metres. TWS (True Wireless Stereo) pairing is supported, allowing two T8 units to be linked together to create a split stereo system. It should be noted that TWS synchronisation is exclusive between T8 models. It also features a Micro SD card slot and 3.5mm auxiliary input for external audio sources.

Design, durability and control

The chassis is constructed with reinforced textile mesh and rubberised ends for shock absorption. IPX7 certified, the speaker is waterproof and can withstand accidental submersion up to 1 metre deep for 30 minutes. Control is hybrid: a top rotary dial for precise volume adjustment and six rear buttons for track navigation. Through the official Tronsmart app you can manage the five RGB lighting modes, update the firmware via OTA and customise the equalisation.
