SynScan V5 controller with remote control
The SynScan V5 controller is the latest generation hand controller for Sky-Watcher computerized mounts. It features a high-contrast 4-line LCD display with adjustable backlight and built-in heating for reliable operation in cold conditions. The controller includes a comprehensive database of over 42,000 celestial objects, including stars, deep-sky objects, and solar system bodies, plus 900 user-definable objects.
Equipped with a USB 2.0 port, the V5 controller allows firmware updates and direct PC control via ASCOM or SynScan Pro software. The included remote control enables convenient operation from a distance, making it ideal for astrophotography sessions. The controller supports multiple alignment methods and offers precise GoTo slewing with backlash compensation.
