Take your racing setup to the next level with the Asetek SimSports The Forte Formula Wheel. The design allows for long-lasting driving fun and greatly enhances your gaming setup. The different buttons help you make additional adjustments during the race. You can assign a total of 25 shift paddles, buttons and knobs to your preferred functions and thus further enhance your racing experience.
ASETEK FORTE® FORMULA STEERING WHEEL
Inspired by real-life formula cars, the Asetek Simsports® Forte® Formula steering wheel has been painstakingly designed by racers and simulation racers to match the feel of real-life racing while embracing the feedback of simulation racing. With this and other feedback in mind, we started from scratch and with a blank sheet of paper with a mission to create the best formula sim racing wheel possible, but, like our other products, without going broke. We are pleased to say that we have succeeded: we present to you the Forte® Formula wheel!
The design has been conceived with the user experience in mind, where all the adjustable elements are coloured to get you up and running quickly, and to ensure intuitive and almost tool-less use. The Forte sim pedals are highly adjustable to help you channel your inner racing driver, changing the travel and hardness settings to suit your exact preferences. And using Asetek SimSports® RaceHub™ software, you'll be ready to race in no time.
The ergonomic grips are made of comfortable, soft and durable silicone rubber that's easy to clean and disinfect, giving you maximum comfort and control whether you're wearing racing gloves or not. You will have the option to easily change the grips to quickly apply future upgrades such as colour, size, shape and hardness.
The front face of the steering wheel is made from a 2mm woven carbon plate that provides a beautiful home for all the buttons and switches.
With 128 individual input options, the Asetek Simsports® Forte® Formula steering wheel, through our RaceHub™, will give you the option to customize and assign all the buttons, switches, encoders and paddles you need to be on the cutting edge. With 12 push buttons, two 2-way switches and two 7-way switches, three rotary encoders and six thumb encoders, you'll be able to control all the settings you want.
All buttons, switches and rotary knobs meet the highest quality standards and are fully tested and validated on our automatic button testing machines to ensure years and years of reliable daily use.
The rear incorporates, by default, two non-contact magnetic shift paddles for quick and smooth gear changes. The steering wheel is easily upgradable to a double clutch for perfect race starts, as well as two additional assignable paddles that, for example, can be used for effortless overtaking and DRS activation. All the levers and associated mechanics are, like the steering wheel chassis itself, injection moulded from an ultra-light and rigid carbon composite material.
The Forte® wheel features no less than 49 fully customisable ARGB LEDs, including rev and flag lights, allowing you to not only personalise the look of your wheel, but also help you make those split-second decisions that can make the difference between success and failure. Of course, the LEDs can be adjusted, dimmed, customised in colour and assigned in RaceHub™, with many more features to come. Each button and LED can be clearly marked using the supplied sticker sheet, which provides a backlit label for each function of your steering wheel.
