4 port serial pci-e card

The STARTECH PEX4S953 is a 4-port serial PCI Express card that adds four RS232 DB9 serial ports to a desktop or server computer. It uses a PCI Express x1 interface and is compatible with both standard and low-profile chassis thanks to the included brackets. Each port supports data transfer rates up to 921.6 Kbps and features a 16550 UART with a 256-byte FIFO buffer to reduce CPU overhead.

This card is ideal for connecting legacy serial devices such as barcode scanners, receipt printers, modems, and industrial equipment. It is natively supported by Windows, Linux, and macOS, and includes a single chip solution for reliable performance.
