Scanner type and performance

• Single line 1D laser scanner designed to read all standard linear barcodes and GS1 DataBar.

• Scanning speed of 100 lines per second with 30° horizontal reading angle, providing fast and accurate readings.

• Capable of decoding high density codes up to 3.5 mil, eliminating the need for specialised scanners for very compact labels.

USB kit and operation

• 1200G-2USB-1 version in kit: includes black scanner (1200g-2), rigid presentation stand (STND-19R02-002-4) and 3m coiled USB Type A cable (CBL-500-300-C00), plus documentation.

• Presentation mode with object detection and base auto-sensing: when the reader is placed in the holder, it automatically switches to automatic scanning without the need to press the trigger.

Ergonomics and construction

• Ergonomic handheld design with finger notch, lightweight (approx. 125 g) and compact: 66 x 180 x 97 mm (W x L x H).

• Robust construction with shock-mounted PCB, sunken button with co-moulded rubber and scratch-resistant, protected glass window.

• Drop resistance: withstands up to 30 drops to concrete from 1.5 m, with IP42 environmental sealing against dust and drips.

Interfaces and power

• Multi-interface: supports USB, wedge keyboard and RS-232 via cables/adapters, although this kit is supplied with USB Type A cable.

• 5 V ± 5% power supply from host, with typical power consumption of 700 mW (140 mA) in operation and 350 mW (70 mA) in standby.
