The D-Link DGS - 1005 d, a switch from desktop with 5 ports 10/100/1000Mbps, offering high performance in a device that allows us to save space and money. Another feature in this switch is that all ports automatically negotiate the setting mode MDI/MDIX (Up-Link), avoiding the need to create cross-pair cables. Standards The DGS-1005 d Switch supports IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX 802.3U, 802.3ab 1000BASE-T and 803.3x flow control. This switch is equipped to auto negotiate speed to 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps.Flow Controlthe Switch DGS-1005 d, in Full-Duplex mode, allows you to protect users against possible data loss during transmission on the network. When they are connected to a LAN (in a server or PC) card that supports flow control, and when the data buffer is filled, the switch sends a signal to the computer indicating such a situation.
