Zebra TC22R Integrated Handheld RFID Reader

The Zebra TC22R (TC2205-0G1250SS-E8) is a handheld UHF RFID reader integrated with TC22 mobile computer, pistol format, designed for inventory and intensive traceability with reading up to 1,300 tags per second and nominal range up to 12.2 m, while maintaining the ergonomics of an Android smartphone with 6" touch screen.

Design, ergonomics and robustness

• It integrates in a single body the UHF RFID reader + antenna + TC22 mobile computer, in a gun-style lightweight format (≈569 g), which reduces fatigue compared to traditional terminal+sled combos.

• 6" FHD+ (1080×2160) touch screen, all-touch design, IP65 rated, 1.5 m drop resistance on concrete and operating temperature range from -10 °C to +50 °C, suitable for warehouses, retail and field.

RFID performance and scanner

• UHF RFID with Zebra's own proprietary radio, EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / Gen 2v2 compliant, read rate up to 1,300 tags/s and typical range up to 12.2 m with integrated 4 dBi antenna, enabling very fast inventories.

• It incorporates SE4710 1D/2D scan engine for barcodes, plus NFC reader for cards/contactless, so that a single device covers RFID, barcodes and payments or proximity identification.

Internal hardware and communications

• 2.1 GHz hexa-core CPU, 6 GB RAM and 64 GB flash storage, expandable via microSD, running Android with Google Mobile Services (GMS) for enterprise apps and MDM.

• Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB-C connectivity, facilitating integration with your existing infrastructure and easy deployment via standard MDM platforms.

Battery and battery life

• Standard 7,000 mAh, removable battery, sized to cover full work shifts with intensive RFID reading; supports charging via TC22R series specific 1-bay or multi-bay cradles, as well as direct charging via USB-C.
