This pack includes five StarTech.com 5-meter LC to LC (UPC) OM5 multimode fiber optic cables designed for high-speed data transmission in fiber optic networks. Each cable features a 50/125 µm duplex LOMMF zipcord with VCSEL technology, supporting data rates up to 40/100 Gbps. The OM5 fiber type extends wavelength support to 850-953 nm, enabling Short Wavelength Division Multiplexing (SWDM) for enhanced channel isolation.

The cables are constructed with a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket, which emits minimal toxic fumes in case of combustion, making them safe for use in poorly ventilated spaces. The fiber core is bend insensitive and protected by an aramid-reinforced sheath, allowing a bending radius as small as 6 cm without signal degradation.

Each cable has LC/LC UPC connectors, providing better return loss performance (?30 dB) compared to PC polished connectors. The cable diameter is 2.9 mm, and the insertion loss is °0.3 dB, ensuring efficient signal transmission. These cables are individually tested to guarantee performance and reliability.
