The LINDY USB 2.0 Cat5 Extender 50m (model 42693) enables seamless extension of USB 2.0 signals up to 50 meters (164.04 feet) using Cat5e or Cat6 network cables. Designed for wired AV wall plates and modular AV setups, this extender supports a maximum bandwidth of 480Mbps, ensuring high-speed data transmission suitable for various USB applications.

Featuring a robust LG-8311 chipset, the extender supports multiple USB data transfer types including control, bulk, interrupt, and isochronous transfers, making it versatile for different device requirements. The transmitter unit connects via USB Type A (male) and outputs through an RJ45 (female) port, while the receiver reverses this connection to USB Type A (female) from RJ45 (female).

Powered via a 3.5/1.35mm DC socket with 5VDC 2.1A requirements, the extender is housed in a compact plastic casing measuring 30x60x15mm, designed to operate reliably within temperatures ranging from 0° to 70°C (32°F to 158°F).
