The Kurzweil Ka-E1 is a professional stage piano designed to deliver an authentic and expressive playing experience for musicians of all levels. It features 88 fully weighted keys with H1 Ivory hammer action, simulating the feel of an acoustic grand piano with four graded zones and adjustable touch sensitivity in three levels to suit different playing styles. The piano comes preloaded with 20 high-quality instrument presets including premium German D piano samples, electric piano, organ, clavichord, strings, and more, all optimized through the KORE 1.0 128MB sound library. It supports versatile performance modes, including split, layer, and duo, allowing musicians to combine sounds or play in duet mode with adjustable split points. Advanced features such as transpose (+/- one octave), tuning adjustment (+/- 100 cents), and built-in metronome with 14 time signatures enhance practice and performance convenience.

Equipped with a 30-watt four-speaker stereo sound system powered by dual 15-watt digital amplifiers, the Ka-E1 delivers clear and immersive audio suitable for stage and studio environments. It includes essential connections such as 3.5mm stereo input, 6.3mm stereo output, headphone jack, and pedal inputs for sustain and optional pedal units. Wireless connectivity via Bluetooth 5.2 supports MIDI and audio streaming, while USB to host provides MIDI and audio communication with computers and mobile devices.
