Featuring an all-discrete Class A output amplifier and a custom input transformer, the 76-KT provides the iconic sound with modern reliability. Its FET-based gain reduction circuit offers lightning-fast attack times as low as 20 microseconds, making it ideal for taming transients on drums, vocals, and guitars.

With fully variable attack and release controls, plus a ratio selector (4:1, 8:1, 12:1, 20:1), the 76-KT offers versatile dynamic control. The front panel includes a VU meter switchable between gain reduction and output level, and the unit accepts both XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs and outputs.
