RAK Wireless WisBlock NB-IoT Interface Module Overview The RAK5860 is a WisBlock Wireless module that extends the WisBlock system with an LTE wireless connection. In addition to standard LTE communication, it also supports the new CAT M1 and CAT NB2 standards. The RAK5860 also features a GNSS positioning option that can utilize both GPS and Glonass satellites.The RAK5860 is the solution when your LoRa® application needs access to the IoT but is located outside the range of Wi-Fi networks or LoRaWAN® gateways.The RAK5860 expands your solution with wireless communication options. For example, it can be used as a gateway between your LoRa nodes via LTE. The RAK5860 can be easily programmed using the Quectel AT command interface.The RAK5860 is ideal for battery-powered applications, as the WisBlock system allows the module to be completely powered down to reduce the system’s power consumption.
