The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G revamps the brand' s mid-range line-up with a focus on durability and sustained performance. The design reduces its thickness to 6.9 millimetres, employing an aluminium perimeter frame instead of polycarbonate. Protection is reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both sides and IP67 certification, which guarantees resistance to dust and immersion in water up to one metre for 30 minutes.

LTPO display and 1,900 nits of brightness

It integrates a 6.6-inch flat Super AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution. The main technical innovation is its adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz using LTPO technology, optimising power consumption. It achieves a maximum brightness of 1,900 nits in high brightness peaks, ensuring visibility outdoors. It also includes Eye Comfort Shield 2.0 to reduce blue light emission and support for HDR10+.

4nm Exynos architecture and RDNA 3.5 graphics

The device is powered by Samsung's Exynos 1680 processor manufactured in a 4 nanometre process. This chip works alongside the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU, based on the AMD RDNA 3.5 architecture for processing demanding graphics. This version features 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Following the current trend in the range, the microSD card slot has been removed.

Cameras with advanced stabilisation

The rear module consists of three sensors. The main 50-megapixel (f/1.8) sensor features Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and PDAF focusing. It is complemented by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle (123°) and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The 12-megapixel front camera enables 4K video recording at 60fps, supported by the VDIS electronic stabilisation system.

45W fast charging and extended support

The 5,000 mAh battery now supports 45W fast charging, allowing it to reach 50% charge in around 25 minutes. In connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0 and Dual SIM support (Nano-SIM + eSIM). The handset comes with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, with an official commitment to 6 years of system updates and security patches.
