The Austrian Audio OC818 is a professional large-diaphragm condenser microphone that continues the legacy of the legendary CK12 capsule. Featuring a hand-selected, edge-terminated capsule with a 35 mm gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragm, it delivers exceptional transient response and a wide frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The OC818 offers five switchable polar patterns (cardioid, omnidirectional, figure-8, wide cardioid, hypercardioid) and a unique dual output mode that allows separate processing of the front and rear capsule signals, enabling creative post-production control.

With built-in Bluetooth connectivity, the OC818 can be controlled wirelessly via the PolarDesigner app, allowing real-time adjustment of polar patterns, high-pass filter (40, 80, 160 Hz), and attenuation pads (-10, -20 dB). The microphone has a maximum SPL of 148 dB (0.5% THD) and a signal-to-noise ratio of 85 dB (A-weighted).
