Austrian Audio OC818 Dual Set Plus Microphones

The Austrian Audio OC818 Dual Set Plus delivers two meticulously hand-matched OC818 multi-pattern condenser microphones, engineered for professional stereo recording. Each microphone features a dual-capsule design with four selectable polar patterns (cardioid, omnidirectional, figure-8, and wide cardioid), providing exceptional versatility for capturing vocals, instruments, and ensembles. With a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 148 dB, the OC818 handles everything from delicate acoustic sources to loud sound sources with ease.

What sets the OC818 apart is its innovative Bluetooth control capability, allowing you to adjust polar patterns and other settings remotely via the PolarDesigner app on your smartphone or tablet. This feature is invaluable for fine-tuning microphone placement without physical access. The Dual Set Plus includes two microphones, each with a shock mount, windscreen, and a rugged carrying case, making it the ultimate choice for stereo recording applications such as drum overheads, piano, choir, and orchestral setups.
