Comica HRM-C

Dynamic microphone specifically designed for field interviews, journalistic reports and live presentations. As a passive microphone, it does not require batteries or phantom power (+48V), which guarantees operation with cameras, recorders or interfaces without additional power consumption.

Its robust design and omni-directional pick-up make it a practical tool for quick interviews and situations where the microphone has to be switched between different interlocutors.

Omni-directional capsule for dynamic interviews

The Comica HRM-C incorporates a dynamic capsule with an omnidirectional polar pattern, capable of capturing sound in 360 degrees.

This type of pick-up allows audio to be recorded uniformly even when the microphone is not perfectly directed towards the sound source, facilitating its use in:

• Outdoor interviews
• TV reports
• Events and press conferences
• Presentations and live coverage

Its frequency response of 70 Hz to 15 kHz is optimised for the human voice, naturally reducing the extremes of the spectrum to minimise bass and sibilance.

Aluminium alloy construction

The microphone body is made entirely of aluminium alloy, which provides high resistance to impact and heavy use.

This metal chassis also acts as a shield against radio frequency (RF) interference, reducing possible noise generated by nearby electronic devices such as mobile phones.

Long design for press mic flags

The microphone features an extended 274 mm handle, designed to allow the placement of corporate mic flags without affecting the ergonomics of the grip.

Weighing 540 grams, the device offers stability during handheld recording and facilitates firm control during interviews on the move.

Professional XLR connection

The Comica HRM-C uses a 3-pin XLR output, standard in professional audio environments to ensure a balanced signal with less susceptibility to interference.

It is compatible with:

• DSLR and mirrorless cameras
• Portable recorders (Zoom, Tascam)
• Professional audio interfaces

For use with smartphones or tablets an XLR to Jack or USB-C adapter (not included) is required.
