Boya BY-MM1 PRO Boya BY-MM1 PRO - Compact universal microphone

Designed for video, interview and vlogging creators, this mini shotgun integrates two opposing supercardioid capsules that allow you to switch between front, rear or mixed pickup without changing microphones. The 45 Hz - 18 kHz range and high signal-to-noise ratio of 80 dB ensure clean audio even outdoors, while the aluminium body of just 84 × 22 mm withstands heavy use without adding weight to the rig.

Configurable dual pickup

A three-position switch enables Front / F+R / Rear, ideal for face-to-face interviews, reports or vlogs where presenter voice and ambience are required. Differentiated sensitivity(-32 dB front and -44 dB rear) reduces background noise while maintaining subject sharpness.

Universal connection, zero batteries

The built-in 3.5 mm TRRS coiled cable operates by plug-in power, without batteries or menus; simply switch the Camera/Smartphone selector to use it with DSLRs, mirrorless, mobiles or tablets. A second TRS connector allows headphone monitoring during recording.

Standard accessories and noise control

Includes vibration-isolating Rycote Lyre mount, two foam windscreens and two high-wind hair deadcats, plus zippered case. This set minimises handling clicks and air blasts without the need for after-filters.

Lightweight and durable construction

The Buoy BY-MM1 PRO weighs only 68 g, making it a good match for compact gimbals. The metal chassis and the ¼" threaded hot shoe mount enhance reliability during continuous shooting.
