RØDE VideoMicro Black Digital Camera Microphone

RØDE VideoMicro Black Digital Camera Microphone

The RØDE VideoMicro is a compact, lightweight shotgun microphone designed to dramatically improve the audio quality of your DSLR and camera videos. Featuring a cardioid condenser capsule, it focuses on sound directly in front of the camera while reducing peripheral noise, delivering natural, clear audio for indoor recordings. Its aluminum body provides excellent RF rejection and durability, finished with a high-grade ceramic anti-glare black coating.

Built with the Rycote Lyre suspension system, the VideoMicro effectively isolates the microphone from vibrations and handling noise, outperforming traditional elastic suspensions. The included WS9 furry windscreen with an inner foam cell ensures clean audio in outdoor environments. For smartphone use, an optional SC7 TRS to TRRS cable is available. This microphone requires no batteries, drawing power from the camera's plug-in power.
