RAK Wireless WisGate Developer D4H+ Gateway LoRa 868 MHz Version Overview The RAK7248 WisGate Developer D4H RAK7248 is a gateway for LoRaWAN that consists of a Raspberry Pi 4, a RAK2287 Concentrator, and a RAK2287 Pi HAT. The RAK2287 includes a GPS module and a heat sink for improved performance and thermal management, and its housing is constructed from aluminum.The built-in RAK2013 Cellular Pi HAT is based on the EG95 from Quectel, an LTE CAT4 module optimized specifically for M2M and IoT applications.The built-in RAK2287 uses the SX1302 chip from Semtech, whose built-in LoRa® concentrator IP core serves as a powerful digital signal processing engine. It can receive up to 8 LoRa packets with different spreading factors on different channels and is available in multiple variants, making it suitable for international standard bands. This unique capability enables the implementation of innovative network architectures that offer advantages over other short-range systems.
