TBMA1 Biconical Antenna: The TBMA1 is a small, lightweight, broadband biconical test antenna. With its moderate price, it is ideal for EMC pre-compliance testing with radiated noise and for generating defined field strengths.It is characterized from 30 MHz to 1 GHz and has a directional pattern similar to that of a dipole. The TBMA1 is supplied in an aluminum case together with a “pistol-grip” tripod. A standard ¼" thread facilitates connection to most standard tripods. The elements are corrosion-resistant and designed to prevent twisting. They are fed via a broadband balun with a power handling capacity of 2 W.
