Tekbox TBCG2 / Passive comb generator/frequency multiplier, comb spectrum 1 MHz to 2.5 GHz

The TBCG2 is a passive comb generator/frequency multiplier based on a step recovery diode (SRD). It generates pulses with very steep rise and fall times and a very uniform spectrum. This makes it easy to generate signals in the range from 1 MHz to 2.5 GHz. For example, it can serve as a simple substitute for a tracking generator (though, of course, it lacks the resolution, dynamic range, and accuracy). The pulses can be used, for example, to measure the rise time of an oscilloscope. In combination with current clamps, the resonance frequency of cables can be measured, and much more.
